The boat trip through the cave usually takes between two and three hours. Many travellers choose to spend a night in the village so they can explore the surrounding countryside at a relaxed pace.

Kong Lor can be visited throughout most of the year. During periods of exceptionally heavy rainfall, high water levels may occasionally affect boat trips, but tours operate normally for most of the year.
What to Bring
Bring a light jacket or long-sleeved layer, as the cave is noticeably cooler than the outside air. Waterproof footwear is also recommended, since you may need to step into shallow water when boarding or leaving the boat.
